- Food logging is critical to successful long-term weight control. Here's why:

- There are over 70,000 foods in the CalorieKing-driven database in the dotFIT Program, and the major brands such as Kellogg's, Tyson, Kashi, Quaker, Bush's, Jennie-O, General Mills, Emerald and more are all searchable items. If any of those items are not found in the database, simply do a one-time Custom Food Add (which takes at most 30 secs to do if you enter all of the food's Nutrition Facts) and it's available for that member via their Program forever.
- Use the shortcuts to cut down on food logging time: Based on human behavior studies, we know that people gravitate towards habitually eating the same dozen foods consistently week after week. These foods should be chosen as "Favorites" (highlight the star next to the food name in the search results) for super-fast future access.
