If you’re using the dotFIT Program WITHOUT the exerspy/armband
The dotFIT Program works like any website program; therefore no security or network infrastructure changes are necessary for access unless you block specific websites.
Requirements are as follows:
- Internet Explorer 7, or
- Mozilla Firefox 3 or later

The exerspy application requires an administrator account in order to
be installed but does not require administrative privileges in order to
run.
If you're using the dotFIT Program WITH the exerspy armband
When adding the exerspy armband to the dotFIT Program, the program connects the armband through the computer to the dotFIT servers. Businesses with security in place to specifically block applications from running through the internet (exerspy uses .NET Framework as its base for application deployment) must allow the exerspy application to run if they choose to grant access to employees from this location.*
*This action is NOT necessary from home or other locations without enhanced security.
