dotFIT Return Policy for Online Subscriptions

  • dotFIT does not accept returns for online service subscriptions.
  • Upon cancellation, the subscription will run to the end of the current billing cycle. The subscription will not be pro-rated or refunded.
  • If you have a monthly, quarterly, or annual subscription, you may cancel it at anytime by logging into dotFIT.com with your user name and password, clicking on My Account, clicking on Orders & Subscriptions, and clicking CANCEL under your subscription. Pre-paid subscriptions cannot be canceled.


dotFIT Return Policy for Retail Orders 

In the event that you are not satisfied with an item you have purchased from dotFIT.com, you may return the unopened item within 30 days from the order date for a full refund of the purchase price, minus a 10% restocking fee, shipping, handling, gift wrap, or other charges. If you purchased your dotFIT product from a dotFIT retailer other than dotFIT.com, please contact that retailer for their return policy.  dotFIT cannot offer refunds on items purchased anywhere other than dotFIT.com. This policy applies to the exerspy armband and display device as well as all other dotFIT products. Clearance items marked “all sales final” are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Clearance items are noted as “clearance” in the product description online and on the packing slip included in your order.

Returning items purchased from dotFIT.com

The item must be returned, unopened, in good condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork and accessories to ensure full credit. Our standard return policy does not apply to all items. Exceptions to our standard return policy include gift cards and clearance items.

Here are the basic steps for returning an item:

• Please refer to your packing slip for order information.
 
• Pack the item securely in the original package, if possible.

• Enclose the original packing list with the item. Be sure to keep a copy for your records. If you cannot send your packing list, please include your order number, order date, billing name, and address with the item.

• All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We’re sorry but we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

• For your protection, we recommend that you use FedEx, UPS or Insured Parcel Post for your return. Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to the warehouse.

• You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.

Damaged/Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Service Representative within 30 days of delivery. Please supply the Representative with your order number and item number from your original confirmation email or your order history online. The Representative will also need your e-mail address and phone number. dotFIT will make every reasonable effort to replace the item in a timely manner. We cover shipping charges if there was damage to the item due to shipping.

• If there is extensive damage to the packaging, contact a Customer Service Representative upon receipt. Please have your order number and item number available when you contact the Customer Service Representative.

TERMS OF THE EXERSPY INSTALLMENT PLAN

For the exerspy installment plan your credit card will be charged an initial payment at the time of purchase. A monthly payment will automatically be charged to the same credit card once per month for the next 12 consecutive months following the time of purchase. You may cancel your installment agreement any time by calling dotFIT Customer Service at 877.436.8348. However, your credit card will be charged a $50.00 Early Termination Fee ("ETF") if you terminate prior to the end of the twelve month agreement. 

OTHER EXERSPY AND dotFIT ME PURCHASES
If you purchase the complete exerspy package, which includes the exerspy armband, a coaching session with a dotFIT phone coach, and a 12-month subscription to the dotFIT Me program, your credit card will be charged the specified amount for this package when you sign up (the "Order Submission Date"). At the end of the 12-month subscription, you will need to purchase a new subscription plan in order to continue using the dotFIT Me program and the exerspy armband.

When you purchase a dotFIT Me subscription plan which auto-renews (the monthly or quarterly plan), your credit card will be charged the specified amount for your specified plan 30 days after you sign up (the "Order Submission Date") and when you have reached the Cutoff Date for the next and every month hereafter, until you choose to discontinue your service. Please visit the Orders & Subscriptions page (log in and click My Account) to view the Order Submission Dates and Cutoff Days that apply to your subscription.

If you purchased the exerspy armband (including a unit, strap, USB cable, user guide, quick start card) it will be automatically shipped to you.  Although dotFIT makes every reasonable effort to deliver items you've requested for your order, please note that product availability may change without notice. dotFIT reserves the right to substitute a similar item in your order. Shippable items are available in the USA only.
